Serinus® 10

Ozone (O3) analyser

Ozone is the earth’s protective shield from UV radiation. But at ground-level, Ozone has become a pervasive global air pollution problem. The Serinus 10 next generation of Acoem Ozone (O3) analyser, delivers ozone measurements over a range of 0-20ppm with a lower detectable limit of 0.5 ppb. It is designed to empower organisations and communities to make informed decisions based on precise and reliable information.

Features

Real-time monitoring every minute
Comprehensive data logging and remote viewing of over 200 operational parameters.
Remote application dashboard
Bluetooth connectivity combined with the ‘Serinus® Remote’ Android App for simpler programming, viewing, downloading and emailing of data.
Long-life data storage
Removable flash memory stores ~10 years of data, including up to 12 individual parameters and event logs.
Intuitive interface
Advanced GUI and a large alphanumeric keypad with tactile keys.
Ergonomic design
Rack slide design for easy access to internal components and analyser removal from a rack cabinet.

Non-dispersive UV technology

The Serinus 10 Ozone Analyser uses non-dispersive Ultraviolet (UV) absorption technology to measure Ozone to a sensitivity of 0.5 ppb, in the range of 0 – 20 ppm. The U.S. EPA has designated the Serinus 10 Ozone Analyser as an equivalent method and TÜV has designated it as an EN approved instrument.

Serinus 10 measures O3 with the following components and techniques:

  • Mercury vapour lamp – to generate UV light at a wavelength that ozone will absorb (254 nm)
  • Photodiode detector – to capture the measurement response. Detects the remaining UV light after absorption, leading to the concentration of ozone
  • Ozone scrubber – to establish the background response. As ozone is not the only atmospheric gas that absorbs this particular wavelength of UV light

Approved globally

  • US EPA approval (EQOA–0809–187)
  • EN approval TÜV (0000040202-02)
  • Australian Standard (AS 3580.6.1-2011)
  • Russian approval (56053-13)
  • French approval LSCQA
  • Ukraine approval (12/3/B/24/295-17)
  • Korean approval NIER (AACMS-2017-03)

Superior air quality monitoring for global environments

Air quality monitoring is increasingly important in today’s urban, industrial and rural areas. The Serinus® range of analysers has emerged through 40+ years of experience and knowledge gained from operating large air quality monitoring networks. The result is a superior portfolio of instruments that integrate seamlessly into continuous monitoring networks. They not only measure human exposure to pollutants but can be combined with trace/background monitoring as well as stack monitoring – thus becoming a vital tool for governments and organisations to track and abate air pollution and its effects on their immediate environment.
