Tunnel Sensors: AIRFLOW

The AIRFLOW tunnel monitor uses proven ultrasound technology to measure the speed and direction of air movement within the tunnel environment. These measurements can be used as part of an air quality management system for ventilation control within a tunnel or other confined space including traffic tunnels, rail tunnels, cable tunnels as well as mining applications.
Met One: Met Station One

Met Station One (MSO) – The industry standard in accurate and affordable weather stations. The MSO provides key measurements: wind speed, wind direction, ambient temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure in a single convenient package. Optional sensors include Rain and Solar Radiation.
Wind Speed and Wind Direction are measured using conventional cup and vane techniques. All other measurements are housed in a multi-plate naturally aspirated radiation shield to reduce solar radiation errors. The MSO is a digital sensor and provides RS-232/485, and SDI-12 output signals.
Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge
The Model TB6 Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge is recognised as the world standard for measuring rainfall and precipitation in remote and unattended locations. The gauge delivers high levels of accuracy across a range of rainfall intensities.
Model TB6 Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge consists of a collector funnel with leaf filter with an outer enclosure complete with quick release fasteners with the base housing the tipping bucket mechanism. It also includes a dual output 24V DC reed switch with varistor protection as well as dual rainfall discharge outlets for water collection and/or analysis.

Additional Information
The catch diameter is 200 mm (world standard) and each tip represents 0.2 mm rainfall. In-built discharge outlets at base allow for rain water collection for subsequent analysis. Accessories include a pole mount bracket, bird guard and dedicated logger for unattended operation in isolation with no external power requirement.
BPS1000 Barometric Pressure Sensor
The Acoem (Ecotech) Barometric Pressure Sensor is easily integrated with any logger equipped with analogue input terminals. The sensor includes 12 m cable (length configurable). This sensor is used in Acoem’s air quality monitoring systems utilising a termination panel and Congrego data acquisition system.
The Acoem (Ecotech) BPS1000 is utilised internationally as a component of our air quality monitoring systems.
