In 2015, we introduced the concept of ‘Open Book Management’, a philosophy we live by. We believe all our people should have full transparency into the financials of the business and be given the information and knowledge to think and act like business owners. This transparency allows us to see how our contribution makes a difference and how we are tracking along the way.

Health and Wellbeing
We provide a workplace that promotes wellbeing. We encourage people to stay both physically and mentally healthy by providing them with information and activities to help them in their personal journey.

We also support local initiatives such as:
- Greenfleet as a way to reduce vehicle impact on the environment. Greenfleet plant and maintain 17 native trees on an employee’s behalf to absorb the greenhouse gas emissions produced by a vehicle
Safety is always our number one priority at Ecotech and we want to ensure that our employees have a career that is free of injury and illness.
All of us at Ecotech share the responsibility to identify, assess and mitigate any hazards related to our operations, products and services. Our managers and supervisors show visible Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) leadership in our workplaces and continually engage our employees and other stakeholders in the safety conversation.
Ecotech has a strong culture of risk management and a systematic approach to health and safety management. We are proud that all of our sites across Australia are certified to the safety management system standard AS 4801.
Ecotech ensures that we document standard safe methods for doing work both internally and on any of our customer sites. Ecotech makes sure it has a full understanding of our HSE obligations so that we comply with our customers safety expectations as well as any legal or other requirements.
Ecotech continually improves our safety performance by carefully observing the way we do things and always asking ourselves the question, “Is there a better and safer way?”.
Together: Future Forward Stories Past
Ecotech has come a long way since humble beginnings in the 1970s. In 2016, we celebrated 40 years of achievements by publishing a limited-edition commemorative book championing our people titled – “TOGETHER: Future Forward Stories Past”. The special 70 page book is a collection of anecdotes and memories from staff, partners and friends of Ecotech from across the world. The memories span four decades and are a vibrant reminder of the leadership qualities, staff knowledge and workplace culture that defines and has made Ecotech a special place to work and do business with for hundreds of people in Australia, India and abroad.
