Hydrocarbon analyzers

Overview

The determination of hydrocarbons in ambient air is performed for a variety of reasons; the presence of hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene or isomers of xylene in higher concentrations can effect human health.

Hydrocarbons also act as ozone precursors leading to the formation of ozone and photochemical smog, other hydrocarbons such as mercaptans may create odour problems even in low concentrations.

Ecotech offers a variety of different instrument alternatives for the determination of hydrocarbons that can be integrated into our air quality monitoring systems. Ecotech works closely with a number of the world’s leading manufacturers of hydrocarbon analyzers and gas chromatorgraphs and is able to provide an integrated instrument solution.

  • Customisable to measure specific hydrocarbons
  • Ease of integration with Ecotech’s Air Quality Monitoring System
  • Continuous measurement at ppt concentrations
  • Measurement of more than 40 individual hydrocarbons
  • Designed for use in remote monitoring stations
  • Automatic Calibration
  • Choice of detectors including Photoionistion (PID) Detectors or Flame Ionisation Detector (FID)
  • Direct measurement of methane and non methane hydrocarbons
