Data collection
Data is collected either manually or automatically from a variety of loggers through numerous methods.
WinCollect's powerful data retrieval program uses drop-down lists where the configuration for each air monitoring station is initially entered after which the stations can be manually or automatically interrogated and data down loaded without ever having to re-enter the stations configuration.
Downloaded data can be viewed, and edited to change the status of data, correct any erroneous entries, or to insert measurements data not logged by the data acquisition system. The information in each database can be exported to other databases allowing data to be physically separated by month or year to speed up report generation times. WinCollect can export data to a variety of standard formats including Excel and ASCII text files.

Data validation
Allows irregular data to be flagged as invalid and/or removed from reports. Data validation allows data to be manipulated to reflect the true levels of pollution and comes with validation auditing module.

Alarms
Alarms are generated when data is outside a user defined range and can be sent to send out warning in multiple different formats. Alarms can be activated when pollutants are over exceedence levels, specific weather condions exist or when an instrument or station is not working.
